
Known for her expressive vocals and vibrant melisma, Phoebe Jacobs blends modern soul, cinematic pop, and emotional storytelling into a sound that is both raw and richly layered.Originally from Melbourne and now based in Cairns, Phoebe weaves metaphors into stories of the heart—exploring longing, healing, and transformation. Her music is carried by powerful vocal presence, dreamy harmonies, and unexpected shifts in melody and mood.Her independently released debut album, Eye of the Storm, is a soul/blues journey recorded with Damien Charles (The Red Eyes/Gotye). She toured the album through Europe, from intimate venues like The Troubadour to the wild wonder of Glastonbury Festival. Phoebe has shared the stage and collaborated with acclaimed artists including Moju, Hiatus Kaiyote, Tex Perkins, Ani DiFranco, Triple J Unearthed winner JK47 on I Am Here (Trust Me), and Cheshire on the soul-infused electronic single Hope. Her live shows are captivating and unpredictable—blurring the line between music, theatre, and ritual. She is currently immersed in Driftwood, a new collaborative music project based in Cairns, with an upcoming EP and immersive live performance in the works for 2026.
